Onyx is a stone of great importance. Its name originally comes from Greece and it is a volcanic rock, 

that forms from magma. The onyx stone has a healing effect, which has been attributed to it since ancient times. 

Diamonds also played an important role in ancient times. 

Diamonds stand for purity, unity, perfection, eternal love and give strength.

In the magnificent interplay of precious gold and black onyx, the antique ring is an elegant ring and 

dates from the Art Deco period around 1920. The ring head is designed with a rectangular oval onyx plate with an embedded diamond,

the antique Art Deco ring is in very good condition with minor signs of wear due to its age
