Rare, very large and antique ring, Art Deco, first third of the 20th century, worked in 14 carat gold,

large and flat ring head designed as a rectangular shield shape, open-worked with the finest millegriff technique,

central diamond setting consisting of four diamonds set vertically in a row, surrounded by numerous diamonds,

bud-like, opening ring shoulders, silver top, very solidly crafted, the four diamonds convey the following symbolism:

in numerology, the number 4 stands for the earth or matter.

The other terms stability, reliability and devotion are derived from this.

The extravagant, rare and  large statement Art Deco ring is in a very good state of preservation 

with minor signs of wear due to age

Material:      14 carat gold, silver, 4 x old-cut diamonds, plus numerous diamond roses
