This charming antique ring dates from the Art Nouveau period around 1900.

Art Nouveau was an art movement that was popular in Europe and North America at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century

Europe and North America and was characterized by flowing lines, organic shapes and ornamentation.

The antique ring is crafted in 14-karat yellow gold and hallmarked with 585 in the ring band.

The ring band is designed with a slight curve.

The ring head is playfully and lovingly designed as stylized buds.

Three shimmering, delicate pearls emerge from one bud and three pink rubies from the other , each set  in a prong setting.

The pink faceted rubies are gemstones that are extracted from the mineral corundum and have a pink to pink color.

These rubies are often referred to as "pink rubies" or "pink rubies" due to their color.

Faceted rubies are cut to achieve a certain shape and size and to emphasize the beauty of the stone.
