OPAL LOVER

This enchanting vintage ring dates from the second half of the 20th century around 1960.

It is crafted in 14-karat yellow gold and the ring head is designed as an elongated flower.

It is set in the middle  with an oval opal cabochon with a great play of colors.

It is cut in a cabochon cut. This means that the top of the gemstone is cut into a smooth, curved surface,

while the underside remains flat. This type of cut was used on this opal to emphasize its unique veining,

its color effects, as well as color variation and the "glow". This enhances its symbolism.

The opal is set with sparkling brilliant-cut diamonds and four elegant baguette-cut diamonds.

These give the ring a very special charm.

Baguette diamonds are long, narrow diamonds that give the ring an additional touch of elegance.
