TRES CHIC

Geometric, flat shapes with interesting surface finishes dominated the world of jewelry in the Art Deco period. 

This expressive antique ring has a classic boat shape, set with three old-cut diamonds in the center.

Another popular element of Art Déco is the so-called "millegriffes" technique.  

Here, elaborate contour decorations are worked into the surface as hemispherical grains.

The surface of the ring head was chiseled with typical Art Déco elements using the finest goldsmith's work.

The ring expands into an elongated shape around the diamond, which gives it a sculptural visual effect.

Not forgetting, of course, the beautiful chasing on both sides around the ring band,

which gives the ring yet another special feature.

The antique ring  is made entirely of platinum and is of German origin.

It is wonderfully preserved and shines with its great quality.
