THE ROUND MUST GO INTO THE SQUARE
- Order number: r1326
- Open text field 1: Art Deco Ring Russia
Geometric, flat shapes with interesting surface finishes defined the world of jewelry during the Art Deco period.
This delicate antique ring has a classic shape, set with a small diamond in the center.
Another popular element of Art Déco is the so-called "millegriffes" technique.
Here, elaborate contour decorations are worked into the surface as hemispherical grains.
The surface of the ring head was chiseled with typical Art Déco elements using the finest goldsmith work.
Around the diamond, the ring expands into an elongated rectangular shape, which is slightly beveled at the edges,
which gives it a sculptural visual effect.
The antique ring is stamped with 765, which corresponds to 18 carats. The top of the ring head is platinum-plated.
The fine antique ring is wonderfully preserved and shines with its great quality.
A dream piece from the Art Deco period around 1920.
