- Open text field 1: Art Deco earrings 14 carat Diamonds
These delicate, rare and antique earrings were created in the early Art Deco period
around 1910/20. In these years geometric shapes, clean lines and decorative elements were very popular.
The earrings are made from 14 carat yellow gold and are platinum-plated on the front, typical of the period.
In cool platinum, the drop-shaped earrings with a hinged clasp are each set with a larger diamond,
surrounded by small diamond roses, Millegrifftechnique and the finest saw work.
The millefoil and sawing techniques refer to the way in which the earrings were made.
The millegriff technique refers to the fine fluting along the edges in the platinum and yellow gold,
that holds the diamond, to create an additional decorative effect.
The sawing technique here refers to the precision cutting to create all the fine details and designs.
