VICTORIAN PENDANT
- Order number: r1790
- Open text field 1: Antique aquamarine pendant
Fashion in the first decade of the young 20th century was dominated by pastel colors.
Fashion houses such as "Harrods" in London designed dresses in pastel colors, embroidered with floral ornaments and accentuated with delicate tulle panels.
The lines were soft and flowing, and all the colors were based on a very delicate spectrum.
During the day, people preferred to wear gemstones in the same colors with this fashion.
shimmering pearls and water-blue aquamarines. The antique pendant is designed in a stylized heart shape, which makes it special and rare.
An aquamarine in a fine millegriffes setting is the focal point of this pendant.
Delicate arches of gold accompany the aquamarine. This is rounded off by a composition of another aquamarine in an elegant drop shape
in the lower section. Small leaf ornaments with delicate pearls are set on top and add a velvety shimmer.
This creates a magnificent, yet light and airy impression that is in keeping with the fashion of the time.
The pendant and chain are made of 375 yellow gold.
