Product information "QUEEN OF AQUAMARINE"

When we talk about Belle Époque jewelry, we usually think of delicate pieces of jewelry with a filigree design.

Jewelry with floral garlands of leaves and flowers, as well as bows and laurel leaves, are characteristic of this era.

These motifs were borrowed from Marie Antoinette's time, the 18th century world of forms.

The bourgeoisie, who had become very wealthy as a result of industrialization, used the taste of the Ancien Régime to present themselves elegantly,

as the nobility had always done. While jewels in this style  were preferably made of diamonds in platinum in the evening,

daytime jewels were appropriate in gold, set with seed pearls and pastel-colored gemstones.

This pendant also reflects this taste. It is designed in a round shape with flowers and double leaves,

which are richly set with pearls. The light blue aquamarines, placed in the middle, round off the design in terms of color and style.

The beautiful pendant is typical of English designs from the Belle Époque period and is crafted in 585 gold or 14-karat yellow gold.

The matching cord chain, which was added later, is crafted in 14 carat yellow gold.

We are proud to present this beautiful piece of jewelry.
